Jerry Kidd, President and Creative Director

Jerry Kidd is among Florida’s most esteemed communication professionals. His strengths in all facets of strategic planning, messaging, creative, design and marketing tactics helped him establish Kidd Group in 1980 to serve the expanding needs of the industry. Kidd has been honored with numerous awards during his 30-year history, including Image Awards from the Florida Public Relations Association and ADDY Awards for creative excellence.

Kidd is proficient in recommending the best tactics for achieving predetermined goals and objectives. His innovative approaches to public awareness campaigns allow his team to create out-of-the-box programs that respond to clients’ needs while ensuring campaign success. With his creative flair, he is well poised to make the best available recommendation to take public relations and marketing to the next level and create unprecedented campaigns capable of achieving success.

Ivette Marques, APR, Public Relations Director

With a background in news reporting, campaign planning and implementation, Ivette understands what it takes to create a successful, results-driven campaign and how to tell your story in a way that is compelling and enticing to the media. As PR Director, Ivette works with clients on developing strategies to meet their communication needs and implementing the tool and tactics to succeed – always with measurable results.

Prior to joining Kidd Group, she worked as a senior account executive at Ron Sachs Communications. Ivette began her communication career as a producer and general assignment reporter at WCTV, Tallahassee's CBS affiliate. She is president-elect of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Capital Chapter and will become president in August of 2010.

Additionally, Ivette is a member of the Junior League of Tallahassee, Access Tallahassee and Connect Florida. She is an FPRA Image and Golden Image Award winner and received her first EMMY Award in 2009 for the "Explore Adoption" 30-minute TV special. In 2008 Ivette was recognized as one of Tallahassee's "25 Women you need to know." She is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Mass Media Studies and is Accredited in Public Relations. Ivette is fluent in Spanish and French.
